Banning Members

How do I ban a member or remove a ban?

Banning a member prevents them from accessing your forum.

To ban a member, visit the member's profile and click the link titled "Ban Member." You will then be presented with three check boxes for "IP Address," "Email Address," and "Username." Check the boxes for the type of ban you would like to impose (you can select several), then click the "Ban User" button to enable the ban.

To remove a ban, navigate to your forum Administration Area and click the "Ban Member" link found under the "Manage Members" section. The next page will present you with a list of all bans currently in place on your forum. Check the box next to the ban you want to remove and click the "Update Ban List" button found at the bottom of the page to remove the ban.
