Thank you for downloading it. You can change the width, but it's in the CSS. So, go to Admin -> Themes -> Advanced Styles & CSS -> CSS Editor and then scroll down to the bottom. In line 1551 or so, you should find this:
#wrapper{background-color:#1f1419;margin-bottom:10px;padding:1.3em;width:1100px;opacity:0.66;}
Change the width portion to whatever px you desire.
