Pending Members
When Restricted Registration is enabled new member accounts are in pending status awaiting further action. The Admin or designated forum staff can approve, reject, or ban a pending member account.
Pending Members List
Registered members with pending accounts are displayed in a list for review. Approving, rejecting, or banning an account removes it from the list.
The User, IP, and Email columns are sortable. Click on a column title to sort by that column. Click the column title again to toggle between ascending and descending order.

The pending member's registration note, if that option is enabled. Notes are truncated to fit the list space. Full notes can be viewed in the Pending Member Dialog box. Notes are not retained and disappear once an action is taken on a pending account.
Pending Member Dialog Box
Click the pending member's username to display the Pending Member dialog box. The dialog box contains the registration information, including full notes if truncated in the list, and the action buttons.
Searching Pending Members
Above the list is a search box to search or filter the pending members list by entering the full or partial username, IP or email address into the search field.
Approving, Rejecting, or Banning a Pending Member
Once a decision has been made regarding a pending registration, click on the appropriate action button at the right of the pending member list item to Accept , Reject , or Ban the account.
Note
For small screen devices the Accept, Reject, and Ban buttons are also available in the Pending Member dialog box.
Pending Members and the Members List
Since pending members are users who have registered an account on your forum, they will appear in your forum's Members List while their account is pending.
While an account is pending, the user will not have access to their forum account or be able to access your forum as a registered member. Their access to your forum will be the same as a guest.
When a pending member is rejected or banned, their account is automatically deleted from your forum and your forum's Members List.
