V4 News Fader v1.1.3

Converts the v5 news feed into the v4 news fader. Also converts any escaped HTML in your headlines to actual working HTML instead of showing the symbols.

Requires that the news feed be enabled in Settings > News Feed in your admin area.

EDIT: My bad. I didn't put the 'px' after number of pixels in the Setup. Now performs perfectly and is way better than the standard ticker. -------------------------------------------------------------- Makes the whole page 'jump' when the news item changes over. Other than that it's very nice, but I am not using it currently as the page 'jump' looks bad.

I was so disappointed then they changed me to v5 & My News Fader was all messed up my pic. didn't show just codes..... So happy to having it back the way it was.... :) Thank you for letting us use your Awesome product. :)

This is really how a forum is supposed to be--with a News Fader! When I first started using the forum I was a little disappointed to see the text news feed with no personality at all. Excellent plugin. Thanks a million.

Updated to 1.1.0. This changes the plugin to get its content from the news feed in your forum settings (provided it's enabled). In turn, this fixes the backspacing issue by not requiring you to edit the plugin settings to add news items.

10/10 this is way better than the original news feed on v5. The only problem I have is I have to use notepad to copy and paste my text because its extremely hard to do it in the box of the news feed because when I hit backspace to remove an error the news fader deletes it. Otherwise good work.

This looks great and it's an excellent plugin, though it's unfortunate that it is strange in it's ways to work. Maybe it has a bug? It is difficult to make it work, speed doesn't work, I can't add content, etc. :/ But maybe next time it'd be better.. ._.

Any time I backspace or use the arrow keys my headline would just delete itself. Speed options don't work for me either
